Move to larger premises in Market Weighton to take advantage of the growth in African, Caribbean and South East Asian markets, plus the recently established UK truck sales and export parts operations. New site enabled company to have it’s own workshop with painting facilities so all refurbishment could be undertaken in-house.
Acquisition of W & A Chassis Developments in Hull to move into the chassis engineering and bodybuilding business.

Majority investment in HVPS Kenya, based in Nairobi, as the Renault Trucks dealer for Kenya and a further outlet for used truck sales in the country.
Move to current purpose-built 14 acre site, incorporating modern offices and workshops, together with a storage capacity for over 300 vehicles. This led to enhanced growth in particular of the UK focused side of the business, especially in used truck sales and vehicle engineering & bodyshop services.
Opening of sales depot in Manchester to further diversify our geographic presence.
Construction of new engineering workshop, taking the overall capacity of Market Weighton site up to 20 bays, and total staff in UK and Kenya to 75.

Due to changes in market conditions and legislation, a decision was taken to consolidate all of our operations back at the Market Weighton site, with the closure of both Manchester and Nairobi locations.
Our commitment to grow the services side of the business in UK further enhanced by the installation of a second spraybooth, greatly increasing capacity for painting and refurbishment in the HGV, LCV and bus & coach sectors.
